Our Morocco trip itinerary kicks off at sunrise in Marrakech, leaving the city’s hustle and bustle behind. The first thing we do today is head south. Soon, we’ll be climbing the High Atlas Mountains, trading cityscapes for snow-capped peaks and lush valleys.
The scenic drive through Tizi n’Tichka, Morocco’s highest road pass, offers stunning views at every bend. We can snap photos, but it’s the charming Berber villages clinging to the mountainsides that truly capture most people’s hearts.
In the afternoon, we’ll reach the impressive Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and movie location extraordinaire.
Excitement builds as we travel towards Ouarzazate. After that, we set our sights on Dades Valley, going through Skoura, the Valley of Roses, and Berber villages.

Let day 2 of our 3 day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes begin! After waking up in the Dades Valley and saying goodbye to its awesome views, we set our sights to the Todra Gorge, a giant crack in the Earth with cliffs taller than buildings!
Ready for something different? We’ll drive through Berber villages and oases, then pass by Erfoud, a town famous for fossils (you can even buy one if you want!).
Finally, Merzouga! This town leads to the amazing Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Depending on when we arrive, we can relax during our desert stay or hop on camels. Imagine riding through golden sand as the sun paints the sky orange and pink!
Our adventure ends at a desert camp hidden in the dunes. Picture relaxing with yummy mint tea and dinner under a tent, then gazing at the stars twinkling like diamonds in the dark sky. Traditional music and a cozy campfire (if the weather’s nice) will make this night extra special.
Day three of our private tour of Morocco starts with a desert sunrise. After breakfast, we hop back on our camels for one last ride through the golden sands.
We will pass through Errachidia, the desert’s biggest city. For a stunning view, we might stop at the Ziz Valley, with its green palm groves contrasting the sandy landscape. Lunchtime arrives, and we can choose between delicious food in “apple city” Midelt or local flavors in Zaida.
In the afternoon, we will go through the Azrou Cedar forest. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys swinging in the trees! As we get closer to Fes, we’ll pass through Ifrane, a mountain town with European vibes and cool air.
