Let's Begin Our 10 Day Morocco Itinerary!
Let’s start one of the best Casablanca tours with a bang! Upon arriving, we will be transferred to the captivating city of Marrakech, where we will go on an unforgettable Moroccan adventure.
Our journey begins with a visit to the majestic Hassan II Mosque, recognized as one of the largest mosques in the world. As we admire its architectural splendor, we will savor a delectable traditional Moroccan dinner.
In the evening, we will witness the awe-inspiring Fantasia Horse Show, a mesmerizing display of horsemanship and Moroccan cultural heritage.
We will spend the night at a hotel / riad in Marrakech.
Marrakech Family Tour
On day 2 of our 10 day Morocco itinerary, we start the day off with an enchanting stroll through the Majorelle Gardens, a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors and mesmerizing plant life. After lunch, we will venture into the heart of Marrakech, the captivating Medina. Here, we will explore the towering Koutoubia Mosque, the exquisite El Bahia Palace, and the renowned Ben Youssef Medrassa, a historical Islamic university.
In the afternoon, we will go on a camel ride through the Marrakech palmeraie, a peaceful area amidst the bustling city, and enjoy Marrakech souks.

Hot Air Balloon Flight
Before the first rays of dawn paint the sky, we will go on an exhilarating hot air balloon adventure over the majestic Atlas Mountains. As we soar above the peaks, we will be captivated by the breathtaking panorama of mountains, verdant valleys, and traditional Berber villages. Upon landing, we will savor a traditional Moroccan breakfast in a Berber tent. After that, we will hop on camels and move toward Marrakech’s Palmerie.
We will go on an afternoon trip to the Ourika Valley for lunch, with options for a family picnic by the river or horseback riding in the Marrakech Palmerie.

Zipline Across the Atlas Mountains
We will go on a scenic drive to Terres D’Amanar, nestled amidst the towering peaks of the High Atlas Mountains. on day 4 of our 10 day Morocco Itinerary. Here, we will experience the adrenaline rush of a thrilling zip line adventure, gliding across the valley and capturing breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Following our exhilarating zip line experience, we will enjoy a delicious lunch and explore the park at our leisure.
Marrakech - Ouarzazate, and Everything in Between
As we bid farewell to the vibrant city of Marrakech, we embark on a captivating journey to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Our path takes us along the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass, a serpentine road that winds its way through the heart of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. As we ascend to over 2,200 meters above sea level, breathtaking panoramas unfold before us, revealing valleys and traditional Berber villages nestled amidst the rugged terrain.
Our journey will take a detour to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a living testament to the rich cultural heritage of the Berber people. As we step into this enchanting village, we will be transported back in time, wandering through narrow alleyways lined with kasbahs (fortified palaces) and adobe houses adorned with intricate geometric patterns.
Our journey continues to Telouet, where we will discover the captivating Kasbah Telouet, once the residence of the powerful Glaoui family. This imposing kasbah, adorned with intricate carvings and adorned with opulent interiors, exudes an aura of grandeur and history. We will wander through its labyrinthine passages, imagining the lives of the Berber chieftains who once graced these halls.
As we savor the flavors of Morocco, we will indulge in a traditional Berber lunch in a local riad, a Moroccan guesthouse. Surrounded by the warm hospitality of the local community, we will be able to feast on the delights of Berber cuisine, including aromatic tagines, fragrant couscous, and savory pastries.
Our journey culminates in Ouarzazate, a captivating city known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” This desert oasis is home to numerous film studios, having served as the backdrop for countless Hollywood blockbusters.

Time for a Desert Trip!
Our journey today takes us to the heart of Morocco’s stunning landscape. We’ll start by heading to the picturesque town of Skoura, nestled amidst a vast oasis adorned with palm groves and captivating kasbahs. The town’s moniker, “Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs,” speaks volumes about the splendor of its architecture, with towering kasbahs lining the valley, creating a mesmerizing panorama.
From Skoura, we’ll continue our exploration to the enchanting “Valley of Roses,” named after its abundance of fragrant roses. The region is renowned for its production of rose water, a precious commodity known for its therapeutic properties and delicate aroma. We’ll have the opportunity to visit one of the local distillation factories, witnessing firsthand the process of creating this coveted product.
After indulging our senses with the essence of roses, we’ll pause for a delightful lunch at the foot of the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge. This natural wonder boasts towering rock walls that change color with the sunlight, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that will leave you awestruck.
Next, we’ll venture into the heart of the Sudanese-Berber village of Khemlia, known for its captivating Gnaoua Trance music. The rhythmic beats and soulful melodies of the Gnaoua musicians have been captivating audiences for centuries, transporting listeners to another realm of spirituality and rhythm.
Our journey culminates in the breathtaking Erg Chebbi Dunes, a vast expanse of golden sand that stretches as far as the eye can see. We’ll go on an exhilarating camel trek into the heart of the dunes, gliding across the sands as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky with hues of orange, pink, and purple.
Under the starlit sky, we’ll arrive at our luxurious desert camp, where we’ll be greeted with the warmth of traditional Berber hospitality. We’ll savor an unforgettable Arabian Nights dinner, savoring the flavors of local cuisine and traditional music that fills the air with enchanting melodies.
Merzouga to Ouarzazate
On day 7 of our trip to Morocco, we will awaken to the breathtaking spectacle of the rising sun over the Erg Chebbi Dunes and go on an exhilarating camel trek deep into the heart of the desert.
As the sun ascends, casting its golden glow upon the desert panorama, we will reach our desert camp. Here, we can savor a traditional Berber breakfast. Freshly baked bread, savory tagines, and sweet pastries will prepare us for the day ahead.
Next, we will go on a quad bike expedition through the dunes. We will weave through the dunes, the wind in our hair, as we conquer this vast desert playground.
We will continue our journey to Erfoud, a town renowned for its rich fossil deposits. As we explore the fossil workshops, we will gain insights into the fascinating history of this region and the Earth’s geological wonders.
After Erfoud, we will venture towards the charming village of Ait Ouzzine, nestled amidst the rugged beauty of the Moroccan landscape. We will have the possibility to immerse ourselves in the rich cultural heritage of the Berber community, where we can witness the traditions of henna painting and perfume making. We will also participate in a hands-on cooking class led by a local Berber family, learning the secrets of preparing traditional bread and tajines, savoring the flavors of freshly baked bread, fragrant spices, and succulent meats and vegetables.
We will then go on a guided tour of the village, exploring the green fields and gardens, and gaining insights into the traditional lifestyles of the Berber inhabitants, discover the healing properties of local herbs and learn about traditional medicinal practices.

Atlas Studios and Back to Ouarzazate
We’ll depart Nkob and embark on a captivating journey to Kasbah Tamnagoult, a mesmerizing village nestled amidst the Draa River valley. This former capital of the Mezguita region, renowned for its rich history and captivating architecture, will captivate our senses. We’ll also dine in Kasbah Tamnagoult, where we’ll delve into the tantalizing aromas and flavors that define Moroccan cuisine.
We’ll continue our adventure along the scenic route leading to Agdz, a Sahara Desert town renowned for its stunning palm groves and vibrant local souk. Arriving in Agdz, we’ll immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of its bustling market. Here, we’ll encounter a kaleidoscope of colors and fragrances as we browse the stalls overflowing with locally sourced produce, including the region’s renowned dates. We’ll indulge in the exquisite flavors of these delicacies, each variety offering a unique taste and aroma.
We’ll ascend to a strategic vantage point atop Agdz, where we’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the town and its surrounding palm groves. Onward, we’ll go on a remarkable journey to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic kasbahs. As we approach, our eyes will be met with the towering mudbrick walls and intricate details of this ancient citadel, nestled amidst dramatic cliffs.
We’ll step into the realm of filmmaking as we explore the captivating Atlas Film Studios. This vast expanse, flanked by Hollywood-style Egyptian figures, has served as the backdrop for countless international blockbusters. Return to Marrakech
We will depart Ouarzazate to Marrakech on the ninth day of our 10 day Morocco itinerary, and stop to see the Oasis of Fint, located in the Draa River Valley and known for its palm groves and date production. We will take a light trek around the Palmerie region.

Family Vacation in Morocco - Departure
